ð Blue Forest Branch ð
This beautiful petrified wood specimen is among my all time favorites within my collection & downright probably my favorite type of petrified wood I've encountered. I love this material, the brilliant translucent blue agate, druzy crystal feature & incredibly detailed branch rounds. Some appear to look like eyes, others, like fingers to me.
I personally found many of these pieces while camping out of the Blue Forest area in Wyoming. Some were seen lying on top of the ground, others had we had to dig for.
This branch was extracted from below the ground surface, I cleaned off the chalky outer exterior by grinding it, then polished all sides with my genie at home. I definitely never plan to sell this one, heheh. . .
Seeing into this fossil feels like looking though a portal back in time.. What was once a lush swampland or rainforest, is now a barren desert wasteland; these fossils are signs of a world that existed long before us.
Absolutely breathtaking. âĻ ðïļ âĻ
